I used to hate the stuff (in Zal we were all drinking Zima and Skyy Blue), but I'm slowly learning to appreciate it.
Blue Moon and Blue Moon Honey Moon Summer Ale are both excellent beers.

Great Lakes Holy Moses White Ale and Great Lakes Oktoberfest are also very good.

What types of beer are you tasteing? I don't like beer in general, But a friend of mine brought some from Belgium that were amazing! I'll find out the names later. Beer they sell in crown heights though I would suggest pale-ale by Blue Moon. If you want a pricey beer you MUST try Frambois (Rasberry) Lambic by Lindemens they sell it in Benzy's by the front.

Yuengling is good, haven't had it in a while.  I did that they started selling it in CLE though so I'll have to pick up some.

i think there are 3 diff types of leffe, but yes u thats a nice one there.

and yuengling i hadnt either had in about a year or two and then i saw them selling it in the store so i bought a case for the ST party (on top of the case of Canadian Molson that we already had) and it was a big hit!

I was in Pittsburgh for high school so defiantly had Yuengling then. I don't know what the price is in Ohio but I remember buying a case of 24 for like $18 and it is indeed pretty good. (side not Yuengling is the oldest brewery in america) The beers I had from Belgium were Chimay, Duval, Kwak all 3 were very good. Interesting to note those 3 beers are 7.5% to 8.5% alcohol content, which is a lot more than we have in domestic beers.

My preference is blond/wheat beers, anything called hefe-weitzen (methinks it's half wheat and half barley). Hoegarden is good too (I'm surprised nobody mentioned it), as is Sam Adams summer ale, cherry wheat and some blackberry one they had recently (winter ale, pale ale and the other standard ones aren't to my liking).

Crazy Horse is awesome (anyone know where I can find it in Brooklyn?), and I once had a Slovakian beer which was really good.

Some others that were mentioned which I like are Leffe and Yuengling.

Things I don't like in beer: dark beers, hoppy beers, frothy beers and heavy beers. Oh, and smirnoff ice, zima etc. aren't beer, so please don't mention 'em in this thread :P

List please?
not that i have a huge list. and i posted above 2 of my favorite. and then there are those that i like and arent bad at all, like blue moon, canadian molson, beck, budweiser and more. but the topic here is "Favorite" beer.
then there are those beers which i cant put on my "good" list, not that i wont drink it if theres nothing else or if its free :) like heinken, corona...
then theres the ones that go off the list like goldstar ;) and all the diluted beers (taste diluted)

Blue Moon was the first beer I actually enjoyed when I drank it.
again im not saying its a bad beer at all its quite good but the first time i had it - i couldnt say the same as i said by yuengling
