:o  guys, they just gave me 10k within 16 minutes of pm'ng them! I told them I had enrolled in the promo for AU back in Oct (I actually did) and got the card. I made note that my card was indeed compromised shortly after and pondered if that caused the delay and asked when they would show up. Within 16 minutes my account was up 10k!

Thank you for contacting Chase.

I would like to inform you that I have added 10,000 bonus
point for adding the authorized user on your account. This
adjustment will reflect on your next statement dated
03/06/12 and will be for immediate use.

We value your business. If you have any further questions,
please reply using the Secure Message Center.

Thank you,

(An Indian representative)
Awesome! You had the 50K offer?

Yes. Surprised me too. I didn't think the overseas reps had the ability to add such amount.
The response was fast. FYI - I pm'd at 6:25pm EST.

"I added an authorized user on my card back in October under a 10,000 points promotion for adding an authorized user directly from your websight. However, I remember it now and never got the points for adding the additional card. I know my card had been compromised sometime afterwards and maybe that affected the process. Could you tell when I will get these points?"

All of this was actually true - so I don't know if they looked up my compromised account and check that a card was sent out to a vacation home address at that time.

What do you mean you "card had been compromised"? Lost or stolen?
Maybe I ought to "lose" mine before I PM them..   :P

I had some fraud on it. I pointed that out with the assumption that possibly the reps overseas had limited access to old/closed accounts (which I really doubt they can view). It seems to be that way with the U.S. reps. They have to dig a little deeper to find charges on compromised accounts.

How do you make sure that your SM goes to Bangladesh instead of the U.S.?

Could it be that the people who got the points were actually targeted?
