I don't think that any of that is correct. If anything, more supply will create lower prices which might increase the demand.

But regardless, the number of cards offering the credit is still the supply side.

And your math is wrong also. 9X something is 900% more, not 90% more (90% more would not even be double).

Faulty logic. More people will pay for Pre/GE because it's far more useful and lasts much longer than Clear.

I'm not great in numbers so let's keep it simple the clear credit isn't available as widely as GE causing the price to be higher then GE.

Not necessarily, only if the demand is there.

To explain via reductio ad absurdum, let's say that only a rare single credit card offered free advanced screening at Pyongyang International Airport (in North Korea), would you say that the purchase price for that would be higher than GE because it is much more rare? Of course not, because the interest in such a product would be exceedingly low. This is just to show that just because one item is more rare than the other, it doesn't make it more valuable.

Does anyone have experience how it works if someone had the trial or paid membership that expired, do they need to redo biometrics if they renew there membership?

As I understand, one membership is $109 for a DL Skymiles member, and then that member can add another relative for $50. Can half the credit be used for a family membership, or it is one charge per card, regardless of the amount?

Good question, I doubt anyone knows the answer though unless it's somewhere in the terms.

As @Dan said you don't. ALSO, "expired" memberships revert to a "basic" membership which will still work at sports stadiums - so the free trial is great for that too.
