Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.

Generally in my area (Westchester. NY / Southern CT) they tend to have the best prices on eggs and sometimes on milk.

Things I buy a lot of:
Butter
Joe-Joes cookies - the basic vanilla/chocolate are pareve, but please check - some of the seasonal flavors are Dairy
Anything but the Bagel/Chili Lime spices
English Muffins - a lot cheaper than Thomas'
Square Pizza Crusts - these are great, i use them for both Dairy and Meat pizzas
Their Pizza Dough is very good too - stopeed using it b/c DW/Kids prefer the square crusts
Chocolate Babka
All kinds of Breads and Wraps (My kids like the Habanero Lime wraps)
Pastrami Style Lox
Fruits and Veggies there are usually good, but prices are a mixed bag - some better than the local stores, others worse.
Kefir yogurt (not CY)

For the kosher consumers - please realize that while they have a lot of products that have commonly known hashgachas - OU, OK, Star-K, Chof-K, etc. There are plenty of products with funky hashgachot, that you will probably need to check out.

There was a point that they also carried 'Pastures of Eden' kosher feta from Israel - I believe that this is Cholov Yisroel and has a Chug Chasam Sofer stamp on it. It was the target of BDS, but they kept carrying it until around pesach time - I asked and they said they'd be replacing it with a TJ branded version from Israel - they told me it would be in stores in Novemeber - I am looking forward to reporting on it.

I've also seen this lately, but haven't tried it, because I can't imagine it's any good: https://www.traderjoes.com/recipes/breakfast/shakshuka

I was appalled last night, when I met a sefardic friend on line and she had this in her cart. I looked at her and said "Seriously?" - she told me that a lot of people in shul had been raving about it, and she wanted to give it a shot.

the trader joes in hewlett is ridiculously small. I went on sunday (to buy pareve ice cream of course..) and the whole store was just lines of people waiting to pay! it was crazy.

Because you went on Sunday. Stay away from Trader Joes, Costco and Walmart on Sunday. It's like the DMV on any day.
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

The fact that it's not familiar to most people. But you can check crc and star-k lists (online/app) for them (or call).

Friday afternoon also, once in the city the line was all around the entire store on Friday

Exactly.... should have made that clearer, or just said - a lot of lesser-known hashgachot.

Incidentally - I don't know if this is a feature of all Trader Joe's, but if you go to customer service, they will print you a list of all of the hashgachot on their products and their contact info.

The one in downtown Brooklyn often has a line wrapping halfway around the store, but it moves quite quickly, they have something like 30 checkout lanes.

Actually, this is the list I was talking about - https://www.traderjoes.com/PDF/Kosher-Index-print.pdf

The one that @moko posted is a simple product listing which doesn't even list who certifies which product.

Tried the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and the cream sandwich cookies and my kids thought they were awful. The chocolate bobka was mediocre. There’s plenty in Lakewood that are better. The parve ice cream is amazing.
