Author Topic: TLV-EWR Direct round trip flight (possibly) $422 (Read 10664 times)

Flights from TLV to ZFV connecting in EWR are pricing at $422 round trip!
At the very least this is a great TLV-EWR one way direct fare.
This can possibly be used as a round trip direct flight if the EWR-ZFV legs can be dropped.

Check Google flights for dates and click through to United.com.
Almost any date will work for the entire winter as long as the duration isn't more then 3 months.

There are many open questions to answer:
Can the train legs be dropped entirely? (probably not).
Can you check in for the train ride at EWR and then ditch the EWR-ZFV leg so that you only have to take the train for the return?
Can you get on the train one stop before EWR so that you don't have to pick it up at ZFV?

Not to many DP's to found on the web...

On United.com?
I already booked a few of these.

There is a trick I use sometimes with United.com where you select "other form of payment" and choose "Pay in person". Choose either airport counter or united ticket office and click on the purchase.
Effectively, this places the ticket on hold for about a day and issues a PNR number.
Once you have the PNR number, you can find your booking under "My trips" and click purchase now. You can then pay by CC without the price changing.

Also, return is Motz'sh. It might be tough to make the train, especially with a baby in tow.
