When I went to shallots in Chicago, got a horrible burger, horrible service and huge bill.. plus the decor was crap, @Dan said "who goes to shallots and doesn't get a steak"

I once went to Fuego and my fish was $25+ and not worth $5.

Sure these places are emphasize on different foods but upscale dinning cannot dish out crappy dishes. 

Speciality places I love like krudo are fish only and damn incredible fish.

Anyways, I think the review applies equally to many kosher places, gosh who remembers Sara's pizza? That was an institution.  How did kosher delight stay in business so long ?

And there are tons of kosher over priced steakhouses etc that somehow retain a hype but are a tremendous blessing ripoff.

Good. Maybe fewer Jews will be nichshal. Hashem has many messengers.

Just took one more little thing from the story. A Porterhouse steak for 4 :o is $229. Some kosher restaurants have a steak for 1 priced higher than that. We are being robbed blind...

I don't eat out much,  so I wouldn't know but  :o :o :o which places?
