Is there any way to avoid the phone booking fee that BA charges?

I'm booking three tickets that i cannot book online due to the stopovers. they want me to pay 25 dollars each ticket as a phone surcharge. Obviously i told them that i don't have a choice but they still want me to pay $75!  :-\

Is there anyway to try an avoid this?

Don't know about BA, but sometimes after they hold a confirmation by phone you can book it yourself online

If you get an error online they'll waive the fee.
