For the first year AF waived Aspire, the statement closing date has moved to Dec 6.  It's now possible to triple dip the airline credit.1. Use credit in 2019
2. Use credit in 2020
3. Use credit in 2021 before you downgrade

If you're planning on cancelling then you have to do it within 30 days of AF posting (posting on 12/6/20) to get the AF refund.  This means you have from 1/1/21 until 1/5/21 to use the credit.  You can also change the statement closing date to something later in the month to get more time.
will they claw back the 3rd time if you downgrade?
Bigger question,  how to find something to spend the airline credit?
Common sense is not a gift, it is a punishment.
Because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

Delta, ticket partially paid with gift card. DP's on FT all say that it works.

JetBlue tickets under $100
Thanks!
Are these both sure things?
I have $250 from my DW aspire, $200 fro my biz plat & likely another $250 when I call recon for my aspire. looking for ways to spend. I'm flying Delta and JB in a week. (Tickets already paid for with other cards) also looking for ways to spend all that money on my self for upgrades, food etc. what works?

The people who got this most likely put themselves in Amex's crosshairs.

Based on the AMEX Plat link where they froze everyone's MR.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

How soon after the leaked link went online last time did they freeze the MR accounts?

I'm not familiar. is this similar to that case?
I applied but was already at 2 new (biz) cards in 90 days so would you advise me NOT to call recon now that 90 days have past? wait it out a while and then call? wait till when?

Thanks for the update.
Some people also claimed they saw the offer while browsing directly on Amex website.

My app is pending (I already had 2 new amex (biz) cards within 90 days which end in 5 days) so i'm waiting for some dp to come in before calling recon
following up on this. Any dp for a reason for me NOT to call recon?

called recon and they submitted my app and was approved.
Cardmember agreement still said "Annual Membership Fee $0 for the first year, then $450"
