Most people associate an item with a specific brand that has stolen the show due to superior quality (think: Kleenex, Q-tips, Bounty, iPad, etc..)
But there are other brands that make the same or similar item for much, much less.
Specifically I'm looking for an equivalent to apple's airpods. I have no desire to pay $150 for a pair but I would like the convenience of not having a wire smacking me in the face when I'm on the treadmill. I realize that the alternative brands may not hold a charge that long or may not sounds as good but I'm willing to live with that to save $100+.
Which brings me to this thread, if I google "airpods equivalent" I get more results the the name Weiss in a Brooklyn phone book. And I'm not a big believer of reviews, most people only put a review if the item fails, rarely do they offer a review for a positive experience unless the item was comped in which case it's a biased review anyway.
So, does anyone have any experience with wireless earbuds that are not airpods?
