htc evo tethering

I just got an HTC EVO from Sprint and was wondering if anyone knows how to tether it to a laptop without paying the 30 dollar a mo charge? (the guy in the store told me u can prob hack it but he can't help me do it...)

I use it on mine all the time. Just Google "how to tether EVO" and there's plenty of links.

PDAnet (in app store) is free for non HTTPS pages, just follow the instructions and you are good to go. You will not be able to access any secure pages after 30 days unless you pay for the pro version or get a code.. I am sure some people here can help with obtaining a code.
