I am pretty sure he once approached me on a New Jersey transit train. Opening line was definitely do you speak Hebrew...

i believe i was once scammed by him for $50 [i was under intense pressure as i had arrived 2 hours before the flight with my wifes passport !! and couldnt think clearly. i did take his cell # and it worked, he promised to send a check, he never did and the phone number no longer works]. on the positive side a family member arrived 45 min before the flight and a british airways supervisor called the upstairs office to open the flight, swiped my passport took the bag and checked me in !].

Another reason a airport is very easy to scam most ppl arriving are tired and exhausted and dont realize they're getting scammed.

in my case I was just bringing someone to the airport so not under pressure. Ur right that’s some psychology going for him

I had such story in NYU hospital when a stranger wanted $100 for a cab and I fell for it, & believe it or not a few days later he called me and I got back my money!

Sometimes its a close call and that's when its hard to make a decision.

well not a scam. I once borrowed money in TLV to take a taxi because my card didn’t work and I payed the person back

He approached me too a few months ago in EWR, I already knew about him because of a post a long time ago about him on DDF, he uses same story about Boston and a train and a wallet etc not sure exactly, I exposed him right away and followed him to every jew He went to...

You can usually tell whether it's a scam based on how skilled he does his job, when a normal person loses his wallet and needs to beg to a stranger for money, he acts totally different, in a way that it's totally visible. And if by chance he did lose his money and still he's comfortable begging, then he doesn't deserve it

i actually checked that and it was in the ballpark , but Joel2 is right, people traveling through the airport are in a hurry or tired and don’t have time to think so can easily fall for it
