I rarely use uber eats, I find it very expensive even with the promos but I also just noticed that the prices themselves are higher.

So, on top of the delivery fee and the uber service fee the prices themselves are inflated. 

Case in point:

A classic burger from Carlos & Gabby's on the menu: $8.95, on uber eats: 10.50
 


Has it always been that way?
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Yes. Same with Postmates, Doordash and Caviar. Sometimes it is the same price as their menu. Sometimes not.

Many places. Officially the dont let but everyone does it. Uber takes a huge cut, and still charges the customer too. And their still not profitable.

My brother and I have different availability on uber eats. I have one kosher restaurant accepting orders while he has 6. We have the same delivery address on.

it was supposed to be $11, +$2 for the choice of cornflake. instead it charged me +$11.
(probably was a mistake on the restaurants part) it was back to normal the next day.

I contacted UE CS and they were extremely unhelpful. I can't find a phone number anywhere to call and the chat representatives are not doing anything. (they just write some answer and end the conversation) and when I click my issue wasn't resolved it starts a new conversation with a representative who can not see my last discussion, and I have to start all again.
Anybody have any experience dealing with their CS or tips to get my money back?

Don't like sending a message and getting a response 24 hrs. later but they have credited me with vouchers for orders I had a problem with. I think when the issue is quality of food or something like that they tend to take that more seriously. I also had an issue with a price /promo not working and nothing ever happened..

Well, if you're asking...

not that I think this always works  or that it can work for everybody. but if you have the amex platinum card people have had success in calling up amex with a problem with their Uber benefit and getting a AMEX to transfer them to a live person at Ubar

I used a uber gc for the purchase. Are you saying i can call up about my uber benefits in general or specifically that order

If I complain about an order coming an hour late and get some sort of credit will the restaraunt lose out? I would only do it if they don't...

I'm not sure if the delay was the restaraunt or a lack of drivers in the area (Monsey).
