We're taking my mother out for her birthday, looking for someplace relatively nice but less expensive than Glatt a la Carte. Any suggestions? None of us live in Brooklyn so we're pretty clueless.
Sophie's?
The food is great and cheap but the ambiance is more low end/heimish.

Re. Dixie BBQSpot on! Ate there recently and I'd rate them 3/10 (would be 0, but their prices are great, lol).

Pulled brisket sandwich: Seriously, the contents of the sandwich were cold!
Chili loaded poppers: Subpar chicken soaked in gross dressing.
Their own homemade onion rings: Half raw.

Customer service was the typical Israeli, to put it nicely.

My wife and I felt sick after their food.

Surprised by the negative Dixie reviews in this thread, I didn't see them before I ordered recently.

Placed an order for UberEats for delivery to Crown Heights, food arrived approximately 32 minutes after ordering, was fresh, warm,, well packaged,  and delicious (considering the fast food prices).

Compare that to a recent UberEats order from Ess & Bentch (local in Crown Heights), similar food and prices. Arrived 90+ minutes after ordering (despite being a 5-7m drive away), cold and soggy, none of the instructions were followed, and many of the offered toppings/sauces were not included. It was so bad that some of it wasn't even remotely edible.

Brooklyn restaurants with indoor dining for an early lunch (Noon/12:30 reservation)? Preferably meat in Flatbush.

Thanks!

I'm aware. Was hoping for T-Fusion but they aren't open (indoor dining) for lunch, they recommended their sister restaurant Tea for 2. Also found Fuji Hana, Bakar and Estihana, as potential options.

Had dinner at Meat in CH last night.
Overall delicious with the definite highlight being the dry-aged steak which was out of this world, only steak that i can think of that compares is the Mike's Cote De Boeuf & this was still better.
Desserts are mediocre & could use some work
