BTW yesterday I logged into my Amex account and went into my profile to make sure they have my correct and up to date information. I noticed my employment was still with my previous employer from years ago so I tried to update it online but got an error to call to update. I called and the customer service rep transferred me to another dept and the lady updated the information and my income. I logged back in and noticed she only put 1 year with the current employer and I have been with them for over 4 years so I went ahead and updated. Do you think I might have prompted a FR from Amex with a $55k annual income?  :-[

Yikes I'm worried now about being selected for FR  :( The lady updated the employer information for me. I only went back in there to confirm it was updated and only touched the length of employment and changed it to 5 years. I don't know if I should apply for new cards from Amex now and put myself in danger of FR  :-[

You're probably over-reacting. Since anyone applying is (theoretically) risking an F/R, then you're no different than anyone else. If you can show decent income you should survive an F/R.

Yea I have copies of my last few years of tax returns on my hard drive but I don't really want to go through an FR  :-[

I do want to get some new Amex cards and believe I deserve some. I have been with Amex since 2004 and have never defaulted on their card or any credit card I have had. In 10 years I accumulated 15 different credit cards but now down to 10

BTW you guys are cool and it's refreshing to know a real person is handling a popular forum like yours Dan  ;)

Thanks  :) For the last 2 months I have been cleaning up my credit and can say I am happy to be in the 700 Club and close to 720  :)

All those apps you plan on doing made me assume you've got clean credit... (I guess one should never assume)

Haha yea there were stuff on my report that should have been corrected a long time ago! but I just put it off and told myself I would get around to it one day. I haven't applied for credit cards since 2005 so I didn't put much emphasis on keeping up on what got on my report. I learned the hard way by getting CLD on a few of my CC for being an AU on a family members CC and they defaulting. Oh well you live and learn  :-X

But my EX report is clean now with about 40% UTL at the moment. Yea I know it's a bit high. Making a few big payments this week to pay it down.

My EQ and TU are in dispute for the CO and Judgement. Should be removed in the next 30 days. (reason why I want to freeze EQ/TU for now)

Freezing doesn't help for Amex/Citi (and possibly others), and may mess with 2BM/3BM.
