A few years back, when I was in Israel, I rented from Supercar in Romema. Very sketchy place and I don't recommend it.

Can't say about Israel, but tried it in Melbourne airport when I was 20, It let through the reservation online but when I arrived the screen didn't have my name on it and when I went to the counter they said they couldn't process it since I'm under 21.

i dont get it. if it works with hertz (in america) and so man other places, why wouldnt it work in australia or israel ?

It prob didn`t work because your Gold Account stated you were 20, try making a second Gold account with an older age. (make sure you don`t get caught or into an accident!)
