It might work since if u don't cancel they charge for the room

Is your comment based upon personal experience? Something written in T&C?

with other hotels i tried it but if i didnt check in they didnt count it as a stay they counted it as a no show

How much would you value Radisson points? Club Carlson sells them at .007 per point with a maximum of 40K per year. Besides for the new Radisson Blue in chicago there are no great Radissons in the US but they have some very nice hotels in Europe, Aruba.......

Stayed 12/30, 6225 pts for the stay posted but no 50k bonus so far. We'll see how long this takes!

My wife and I "stayed" in 2 seperate rooms in a hotel for 70 dollars on 12/30 as well. points posted. we just booked Radisson Martinique on Broadway in july 2 rooms for a night, that we will be in NY. official cost 329 Dollars+tax for each room. cant complain, our night in seperate rooms was 70 dollars each ;-)

Just wanted to report back today that Carlson customer service fixed this for me even despite a genuine misunderstanding about the T&C. I was very pleased with how Carlson handled it.
