Not sure if this is the right thread, so please direct me to the correct thread if this should be posted elsewhere.

I'd like to use my google voice number as a fax number. I need it for incoming faxes only.

Is there a way to forward the number to K7 or a service similar to that?
(I'd like to avoid having to have a physical fax machine).

Thank you

Just wanted to mention faxbetter.com Gives about 1000 free storage space (no limit to number incoming) and converts all faxes as pdf.  Only caveat is that you need to have activity at least every 7 days or you lose the number.

I'm looking for a free service to receive unlimited faxes. Sending not necessary (but a plus). Does this exist? I have efax, but I think there is a monthly limit. Thanks.

Try K7.net
Wow, that looks great! Thanks.
Do you use it? Is it as easy (and free) as they claim? No catch?

Website says $0.12 per page.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Now I see the pricing section.
Their site needs a redesign. On second thought if they're in the faxing business it suits them perfectly ;)

Some other options worthwhile considering:

https://www.efax.com/efax-free Free fax number, free incoming faxes up to 10 pages per month.

http://www.myfax.com/free/ You can fax twice a day for free; you cannot receive faxes -- unless you pay their monthly fee.

http://www.k7.net

https://faxzero.com

https://www.gotfreefax.com

https://www.faxburner.com

https://www.faxage.com/

https://www.srfax.com/

http://www.nextiva.com/ $59.40/year for 500 pages/month (in or out).

https://www.faxbetter.com/Options.aspx

Non-eFax services that can be configured for faxing. (Their main service is calling.)

http://www.callcentric.com $1/month for a number under their Dollar Plan, good for unlimited incoming faxes.

http://voip.ms $1.99/month for a fax number.

www.gotfreefax.com

 Takes the cake for me.
Since there doesn't seem to be any out there which can send unlimited this works fine to send multiple faxes beyond the limit.
Used my regular browser for the free 2 faxes per day up to 3 sheets each so a total of 6 pages and then went onto my favorite, top of the line VPN app, windscribe.com (for those who have never tried using a VPN app this one is truly amazing, when wanting to search using a location based IP Address in the US or CAD or while traveling and restricted from downloading apps or using some apps or sites. It's extremely simple to use, really easy interface as simple as hitting the start button and your on your way.(Works like a charm each and every time.) Love the new feature where you can select a specific state.
Was able to watch any game on MLB @bat with this app.

I currently have ring central fax500 plan, paying $14.99 per month. using it very lightly for faxing only. now they are increasing the price to $19.99 per month,

I don't mind paying, who is the best and easiest to use fax program, I prefer using my email to send/receive.

TIA

We've been using trustfax.com, you can send and receive via email (I never log in to their website) I think it's about $15/month
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.
