What's the 16gb optane memory?

Could anyone explain the difference between the NVME M.2 vs the vs the SSD + Optane.
Which one is better? and do any of these configurations allow an additional hard drive to be added?

The NVME is way faster, and therefore preferable. In order to not loose that performance on startup, the optane version is like a small NVME so if you get a NVME you should be able to add a SSD, and if you order a SSD you should be able to add a NVME, although you may need to swap out the optane and reinstall Windows.

Is this worth adding? For $82 and get 20% back with chase ink card.
As well after 3 years if you never used it you can get back the full amount aside for taxes.
It's insurance for 3 years, basically paying for the tax and you get 20% back so 3 year investment.

You probably come out ahead after the 20% back from Chase.

Sounds like it would be a mess. What happens if the guy wants to return the laptop?

I've been pondering this myself. The obvious place to sell it would be eBay, but on eBay these laptops routinely go for 40-50% off. Factor in eBay and shipping fees, and I don't expect to walk away with very much.

This listing just sold (not mine). https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-HP-15t-10th-Gen-Intel-i5-1035G1-3-6GHz-256GB-SSD-16GB-OPTANE-12GB-RAM/323993205608?hash=item4b6f7ffb68:g:5U0AAOSwnw5d3V~-

Even with the Chase offer I wouldn't expect a serious profit on this.

Same with an Amex offer.
To bad on The guy returning it.
It's worth the risk to save 186$.

Only Amex offers I've sold in the past were credits to cellular networks. Not the same as buying a product that can end up not suiting the needs of the purchaser, or break and need to be returned. That said, if someone wants to buy my offers, and is certain that they will not need to return this, I will be happy to sell.
