Has anyone stayed at the TWA hotel? Can I just stay the night even if I’m not flying anywhere?

If you just want to check out the hotel you can walk right in and look around. No need to spend the night to explore.

How much can you explore without actually booking a night? Would like to take my kids for a day trip....

You can access the main part of the terminal always (which is now a sunken lounge and some museum type stuff lying around in the main room and on the second floor. Not during an event you can probably access the hallways near the ballroom downstairs which has more stuff to look at. The connie should be open also even if there is an event.

I wouldn't say that it can be a full day trip
you can spend an hour there maybe a little more
The connie is a bar so not much for your kids to do there except take a peek at the cockpit
the ice skating rink is really small and not zambonied enough

If you go into the hotel part with the pool, maybe you can see from the roof? Ask @davidmal I think he was just there.

I was there and was told can only visit with a minimum purchase at the bar
