Old news; people that are chabad consider themselves often more than just a chosid.

It basically like someone is sfardi or ashkenazi, where its not relevant whether religious or not.

I'm friends with a chabad guy who is no longer frum, and I'd still say he's chabad.

thats because everyone loves chabad!  :) but if the guy is not religious, i think theres a difference between calling him chabad and the "chabad lite" calling chabad.
