Way around limit of 4 award tickets on a single elal flight NYC->TLV roundtrip

I have sufficient AA miles for 6 tickets to Israel on El Al. AA tells me there are only 4 award tickets per flight.
Any way around this? Don't want to split the family up for the long flight. Logistics would be a challenge with several young children.
Obviously if I have no choice, I'll just count my blessings.

put four on hold, see if more automatically open up.  i had the same situation with more than two business tix.

Fly a couple in biz if nothing opens.

EL AL has more than 6 economy award tickets available (check on matmid you will see....). AA has access to all of the award seats, however, they have a  restriction that they can only book 2 business seats or 4 economy seats at a time.  If you put 4 on hold - which they will do for you without a problem - you should be able to start an additional separate reservation to book  the additional seats.  please report back after you have tried this.   (AA agents always say they only see 4 seats available)
