I was checking my credit score, and I realized that there are still hard pulls there which are after two years.

Is there anyway to get them off?

how far after 2 years? i've had some stick an extra day or few. any longer than that you send a note to the bureau challenging them and instructing them to remove them. you should be qble to do this online or over the phone with all of them.

Is it experian? They tend to keep the inquries for 2 years + 2 more weeks from my experience checking them. One of mine went 25 months. Seemed like it should be illegal for them to do that.

EX has always been 25 months. They use new math!

It was an ibur yur last year..

It is on Experian. The date Registered is 10/7/2009.

It is still not off. Does anybody know of a link or of a phone number which I can call?

When did you pull your report? Was if from EX or a third party site?

Two years is so much written about that I assumed it was in some regulation that inqs must be removed by 2 years. But I couldn't find any regulation that enforced this so I guess CB's can keep inq as long as they choose.

Does anyone over here check their credit often? Who would you use? I'm looking to monitor my credit with with a company that gives the real Fico scores - I'm willing to pay

I use American express. I am not sure if its the best one, but its very efficient.

afaik, www.myfico.com is the only website that gives REAL fico scores.

EQ and TU sites have real FICO's also.

According to CreditSesame, while hard pulls remain on your credit report for 24 months, they have no effect on your credit score after 12 months.

As of now I have the amex platnium card, if I downgrade it to the zync card how does this effect my credit?
