On August 5 I called united to see how many mile I had and the told me they expired on Aug. 1 because of 18 months of inactivity.
They told me that I have to buy them back at $.0125 or they are gone, or I can pay $199 and buy a flight from united and then they will reinstate the miles.
Any advice I feel they hve no right to do this.
The told me that it's controlled by computers and there is no one that can bend the rules.
