Selling old or broken devices

I'm looking for a place to sell a laptop with a defective screen. I came across the following website, does anyone here have experience with them?

if everything besides got the screen works, then maybe fix the screen and sell it as used...

Anyone ever use https://dban.org/ to wipe a device before selling.

Update: Dban Free version does not erase SSD's. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Which SSD? The manufacturer's suite usually has a Secure Erase thingy.
