Cannot accept files on BBM.

It doesn't even ask if I'm willing to accept, it just says: Incoming file transfer canceled. Your built-in media storage and media card are full.

However, the build in memory has 38mb free (but the files get saved automatically to the memory card, which has more than 1gb free...).

Help is appreciated.

Is this specific to BBM or can you save email attachments (for example, or any other files for that case)?

I'm slowly but surely fedup of BB, and not sure whether to switch to iphone 4s or android xx(?)

How will I do without speed typing on BB, and BBM?

I have lots of important contacts that work via bbm.

Sounds like you just had a bad install. Thought about wiping and starting over? Should probably take care of most of your issues.

Cannot make a local backup... Not enough space...

I realized that a good part of my pix are saved on the bb itself and not memory card.

Is there a way to move them over, Not 1 by 1?

Via the desktop manager I don't see to get access to the bb itself (as opposed to removable disk), am I doing something wrong?

Is there a way (if above question is too difficult) to know which pix are saved where, using (ie, media card, or on the blackberry), using the desktop bb software.

Helping someone out who got a new blackberry.. do I activate the new one before or after transferring all the contacts and apps using the blackberry software?  Any tips would be appreciated.
Do I need to know the pins?

AFAIK, there shouldn't be any problem with activating and then transferring over afterwards.

BB Desktop Manager makes it easy IIRC.

Activate the new one

when you set up email settings on the new bb it will ask you if its a replacement, and then transfer your old pin to new one - u'll have all ur bbm contacts... (and ur pin will be the same)
