QR codes
« on: January 11, 2024, 05:36:22 PM »
I'd like to put QR codes on rental equipment that customers can scan to order supplies, request return pickup, or request service. It would be great to get gps location of where it was scanned instead of relying on customers providing their address with the pickup request. What's the best/fastest/easiest way to do this at low cost?
Don't ask stupid questions and you won't get stupid answers

Can only talk regarding the gps part as that is where I have had experience
It's called geofencing and you are looking to pull location data and not restrict location
Make sure you use proper site security as most browers will manually ask the user to approve sending location data each time
There should be open source code available for this
Search location grab  geofence
