It looks like this is really 80 magnetic tiles.  They count the plastic clip-in pieces and the bag to get to 100 count.  If you are looking for tiles, $50 gets you 100 tiles of other brands, which is the same cost per tile as this is.

Good analysis.  Being that is the case, this is still a better deal because you get the added clip-in letters and bag for the same price.  Supposedly the quality (magnet strength) is better than it was a few years ago and is similar/better than the name brand now.  Comments?

It's a good deal but I think this one is better, you get 100 magnetic tiles plus a big board and a car (and some flimsy pieces that you can stick on top of the square tiles). The quality seems to be about the same. Get both sets so you can mix and match!
