It says they use certified kosher oil by some hechsher in Antwerp but are they supervising the heating up, is the oven used kosher? @Abebee @YitzyS

The basic idea of that is how he agrees that hagalah is enough and makes an assumption that the item is heated to YSB a second time after the seasoning process. I don't know enough about the process to understand why that would be the case. I am going to try some routes to clarify the metzius a bit more. Maybe he means that it remains heated after the oil turns nifsal?

@moko any insight?

I would assume that it remains heated after its nifsal. The fat/oil smokes up and blackens during the seasoning process

I am sure it does but that is not so simple to be able to accomplish the haagala

This is a stretch but the correct way of using a cast iron pan  is to heat up the pan and then put the food on it, at that point, you'll have libun kal but...

Generally seasoned in ovens at 350-375 for a half
hour several times. Not sure why that's a libun Kal. But there are different methods. Don't see how you can have a blanket statement.
