at this point in time its only really good for ppl who are to cheap or poor to go to a regular lawyer and they only want a very basic document i.e. will, incorporation not meant for someone who needs to make even something a little more complicated than a bsaic will

LLC papers are pretty basic... I'd personally trust it.

Personally, no. But I am sure at some point an uneducated consumer bought something from there and used it incorrectly and got some bad news.

I don't know about other things, but I used them for opening a non-profit and found it to be unhelpful. You have to fill out tons of paperwork by yourself and their phone people didn't really seem to know much.

You expected them to fill out the paperwork? I think that may be your first issue.

It's not about what I expected, it's about the fact that they had no clue, that once I filled it out I couldn't go back in to change anything, that in this case (forming a non-profit) there's nothing that they did that justified paying them money.

Providing the right documents for you to fill out is a service in and of itself.
