What I said is simple, Trump associated us in the public eye with his strongest supporters, whom have nothing but hate from the left, and even worse from the far left. Yourself included.
Be specific what part of that is deranged, what part is a DAC, and where do you disagree and why? Fire.

Jews traditionally lie low in politics, because we are happy and thankful that we are allowed to practice our religion in peace and we are not looking to shake things up. There's another reason why this is hurtful to us. Here's a quote from רב אלי' ברודני written in the Yated (in regard to the NY Yeshiva guidelines fiasco).

This whole thread is about Jews and Trump. Anytime I say or ask anything about Jews it is racist and get called out for it. Others say/ask something about Jews and not a peep.

You have a member here that called millions of people anti-Semites because they don't like Trump. Why don't you call him out?

I think that @CountValentine has a record that could speak for him, and he is beyond reproach of anti-Semitism. It still may be a poorly-worded statement, but I don't think that hate against Jews was intended.

I feel like you're talking past each other here. Do you not agree that there is a significant portion of Trump's opposition that will turn on anything he supports/is associated with? That's precisely what his original comment said in context - that articles such as the one in OP potentially cause Trump haters to turn their ire towards Orthodox Jews.

I was recently in Brooklyn and seen the hate/anti-Semitism first hand. I was standing outside with some fellow DDF members. A car passed by asking a question. Thankfully my fellow DDF members did not understand what they were asking.

Of course there is a portion of Trump haters that will hate anyone (no matter religion or race) because they support Trump.

I can only answer for myself. I don't know the percentages in terms of where I've commented for/against either side of particular arguments, but I would say that I often hit reply on a controversial discussion, type a comment, and then delete it because I know it would be counter productive. In this instance, it felt like you were misinterpreting him (whereas he probably understood what was going on and picking a fight because of it), so I commented to reset the convo to the point where you're probably not even really arguing anymore. Didn't seem to work
