Not sure where to post this, as I dont know what the issue is.
I have a lenovo yoga windows 11 and the cursor does not work properly. It will not register the backgound color to contrast, switch from pointer to text and sometimes it gets lost altogether. This has been going on for a while, with multiple restarts and updates. Any advice would be appreciated.
A few things to try - not assuming that you didn't already, just trying to be thorough.
1. Check that the touchpad driver is up to date.
2. Check pointer settings and play around with the sensitivity and the icon settings to see if anything changes
3. Is it the same with the touchscreen (if this is a Yoga with a touchscreen) and the touchpad, or is one better than the other?
4. With thin laptops, the touchpad can lose sensitivity if weight is not evenly distributed. This can be a temporary problem, for example, if you are holding it on one side in the air, or if the computer is not on a flat surface. It can be a permanent problem if the computer has fallen and dented anywhere in the front third of the laptop.
