Revel is good when the weather is good and as long as the trip is within their home area. One of my biggest issues with Revel is that the helmets are too small.

Revel is good when the weather is good and as long as the trip is within their home area. One of my biggest issues with Revel is that the helmets are too small.

You pointed that out to me the first time I took a revel. But the large one is also too tight (even without an airpod in my ear, עאכ״ו if I want to keep an airpod in my ear.)

Just got a notice from Revel that they will be launching a 100% Tesla Revel Rideshare fleet in Manhattan. Gave me the option to join the waitlist. Looks like this will be competing with Uber/Lyft rather than a car share operation. 100% Tesla Fleet.  Employee driven.

How does it make sense (in dollars and cents) to use EVs if they require downtime to charge? A regular cab can drive near-24/7 (multiple drivers sharing the same car), that saves money over an EV that has to charge for x hours a day. Hard to believe the fuel (electricity) and maintenance costs make it viable.

That being said, I spotted a Lime branded NIU moped (very similar to the Revel mopeds) on the streets of Brooklyn today.

Was in the city Sunday afternoon, not sure why I never noticed them.
 But boy are they on every street.
 Don't see anyone using them, but in every open spot just parked. And I saw a truck repairing them, that's about it.
