I don't know if @Dan knows the real story, but my quick nonscientific research without knowing much about CLE or the Jewish community there, ruled out any of the 3 shooting deaths last night. So whoever is reporting that is lazy and doesn't care about reporting the truth.

The real story is that there all these "news" feeds on twitter etc. who are all so anxious to be the first to break a story that they post whatever sh*t they hear without even the slightest attempt at verification or the slightest concern of who they might be hurting by posting.

Just to close the discussion that I inadvertently started; we are all on edge since Jersey City so when there are reports of a jewish related shooting - rumors will propagate very quickly (and irresponsibly). Not excusing the behavior...but people are scared.

CLEVELAND (VINnews) — A horrible tragedy is unfolding in the jewish community of Cleveland, Ohio.

Although there are many unconfirmed rumors viral on social media, what VIN can confirm is the tragic death of Yossi Bialo Z”L, 33 years old. He suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at his home on S. Green Road.

The entire home has been cordoned off by Police as they investigate this incident.

VIN notes that the victim had a brother Levi Z”L who was killed in a horrific crash in 2005, when his car collided with a train near Toronto.

It does not appear this incident involved any anti-semitism or criminality.
