Anyone here have a projector?

I have a projector, but I don't want to mount it from the ceiling (too much trouble).

I'd like to put it behind my couch on a stand, and I'm wondering if anyone had an ideas or products to do that with...

Anyone solved the have a "projector behind their couch" issue?

Yea, I wanted to do that, I'm just sure if the place in my wall where I need the projector has studs or not.

Oh such BS! You should see everyone in Israel, fixes cars, trucks, houses, windows, bikes, electricals phones devices and they just have such good hands its unbeliveable!

Just use some neodymium magnets to find the screws and you have the center of your stud.
What, you don't have neodymium magnets???!!!
Regular magnets may work as well... just not as convenient.

Anybody familiar with pro grade projectors?
Is short-throw something to look into or is there an advantage of traditional ones?
Is laser worth the extra cot over DLP?
