An attack on a Jew is antisemitism until proven otherwise. 

I agree that antisemitism is overused, but it is also sometimes underused. There is an attack earlier in this thread that evolved from a minor parking dispute. There is nothing in the report that mentions antisemitism, and if the attackers were caught (one was, and immediately released, despite the cops knowing who all the attackers are) they wouldn't be charged with a hate crime. But there is no doubt that they only beat the guy up because he was visibly Jewish even if the pretense for the fight was "parking" or whatever.

The term anti-semitism is way *under* used.

Story of the day: I pulled up this morning to make a left out of Brookwood onto County Line, while there was a woman in the right turning lane as well. I noticed her yelling towards me so I rolled down the window to see if she was telling me something. As soon as I did so I could hear her hurling epithets and yelling at me for the sin of blocking her vision while she was turning (yes, being in the left lane does obstruct your vision in the right lane somewhat  ).

I didn’t say a word, but immediately upon seeing my window rolled down her passenger started opening his door, telling me to come out of the car and fight, dirty Jew, I should have been killed in a gas chamber, and calling me a f**got among other choice words. He also wished me a fiery death in a car accident.

I drove off, and because of the article I saw posted here yesterday, I took down their plates and called the police for the first time after an incident like this who claim to have opened a bias intimidation investigation. I’m not holding my breath.

Mind you, this person almost certainly lives in my neighborhood because of the street they were driving on.

I’ll put down money you’ve been yelled at and called racist names dozens of times yourself and you just brushed it off and forgot about it. Do you realize most white human beings have never had that experience in their lives? They don’t just get yelled at and cursed out for no apparent reason? They aren’t fearful of walking through regular non-Jewish neighborhoods alone?

To be perfectly honest, I think I would convert to being an Anti semite, observing the way some of us drive, but that's a completely different discussion...

not at all. I've had a few clearly anti semiotically motivated run-ins with some hate filled people.  In the above post however, it seems to be a very frustrated individual acting out and there is zero indication of any anti semitic motivation. So to label is as such is inappropriate IMO. And I do think a lot of average white people do get into altercations and are called other names in lieu of dirty jew etc.

I've had a few clearly anti semiotically motivated run-ins with some hate filled people.  In the above post however, it seems to be a very frustrated individual acting out and there is zero indication of any anti semitic motivation. So to label is as such is inappropriate IMO. And I do think a lot of average white people do get into altercations and are called other names in lieu of dirty jew etc.

The guy had nothing whatsoever to do with what he was “upset” about. I’ll again bet money this fellow has written anti-Semitic things on his social media (not that anybody’s investigating). He felt comfortable punching an Orthodox Jew in the face because he has no fear of repercussions and harbors hatred towards him in his heart.
