 My view on a statement like Rav Miller's is that whatever happens we are supposed to take a lesson out of it. When a tragedy happens and we say it may have been because of this that or the other thing it is simply to take a lesson from it for personal improvement. It is not to lay fault.

I hear ya.
Just out of curiosity, was the poster referring to such a case where the victim is currently in crisis & needs help, or reacting later on when it’s too late to help the victim ?

I don’t know everybody on here but I’m pretty sure that any DDF’er would render immediate assistance to anybody they encounter in need, regardless of race, religion, color, or connection.
Especially the vulnerable.
