I loved how the Novominkser Rebbe spoke about secular jews and how they too can come and see the ultimate meaning in life... Also Baruch Levine  and Shloime Daskal were incredible

Honoring the young sick child & the gentleman suffering from ALS was very very powerful. May they both have a refuah sheleimah.

I felt that the entire program was very well done. I had a lot of favorite parts. The stillness of 80,000 people davening Shirley shemoine esreh, the Ani maamin, R'Noson Sherman with the kids, etc. Of the speeches, I felt that R'Shiff from Antwerp really hit home. He touched upon many things that were the core of the moment.

I was awed by the humility and emotion of Harav Shmuel Kaminetzky. The way he thanked Rav Dovid Feinstein for giving him the honor, and the way his voice cracked during his recital of the siyum.
+1!! A real Gadol. Such grace!!

My favorite speech was Rav Uren Reich. I have never heard him speak before. It had a great message with the perfect delivery and not to long.
I also think he gave the best speech. Also my first time hearing him.
I was watching it online so I the rebbe from Antwerp was being translated, pretty annoying imo, so I didn’t  really listen to that speech. I didn’t know how to turn off the translation. Was there a way ? He also seemed pretty good actually.

If so, I would add Rav Schwab.
If you don't care why would you comment?

Holey moley. We're sitting here complaining about 20 min speeches, and R Gifter spoke for almost an hour!

This.

People who were at the 9th siyum (almost 30 years ago) still remember the emotional story told over by R' Schwab. Full audio - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcD2_Qz4qPY

If you look carefully at the original video you can see R' Yeruchem Olshin and R' Dovid Schustal wiping tears from their eyes. (https://player.vimeo.com/video/338894648 @ 10:36; video is missing beginning of story.)

That was before smartphones and social media
Our attention span now is probably less than 5 min

Rav Yissachar Frand's point "that don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good" was very strong and inspiring and the dancing lichvod hatorah with so many people was also amazing!

Regretfully, I didn't go, but I am blown away that within a few weeks of seeing terrible attacks on Klal Yisroel, 100,000 people in the NY Metro filled up 2 stadiums to show that we're still here. We've survived anti-semites far worse than the perpetrators of Pittsburgh, Poway, Jersey City and Monsey, and we're still learning Torah. Chasidish, Yeshivish, Litvish, Modern - it doesn't matter, we're all united by our common heritage and together, along with hashems help, we will remain strong.

Most inspiring/favorite parts for me:

Mincha - the silence of the crowd really inspired me
R’ Chaim’s brocha about knowing shas was both funny and true.
Mendy with ALS being mesyem.

I loved how the video crew (while not great), waited until the speaker was finished to zoom out and show the person they were talking about. Mendy with ALS, the child with cancer, and others. The effect was very powerful.
Visibly Jewish

Very interesting that they did not once - within the 4:30 hour program - show the gedolim on the dais....

When Jay Schottenstein said in his interview that sponsoring the Artscroll english gemaras was "the best investment he and his family have ever made". Then trying to imagine just how good that investment actually is.
