Europe trip to Kevarim
« on: January 02, 2020, 01:56:13 PM »
Hi All.

I am planning an upcoming trip to Europe and I would appreciate if anyone has information regarding a couple of points.

Trip is as follows.

Arriving in FRA
Going to Michelstadt and the Beis Hachaim in Frankfurt
Flight FRA-BUD
Sleep over in BUD or in Kerestir
Kerestir
Kalev
Liska
Eehel
Lizensk – Sleep over
Tzanz
Krakow
Flight KRK – NYC

I have a couple of Questions;

Any information about hotels in BUD, Kerestir, Lizensk and Krakow?

Any help with getting rid of the one way car rental fees from BUD to KRK?

Any places that I should add to this itinerary?

Any info about kosher food along this trip?

Any concerns for safety in any of the stops that I am making? (Will be traveling with one more person)

Any specific points that I need to be aware of in any of the places that I am visiting?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Some of the kvarim are hard to find without a guide.

Besides Michelstatd (Was never there, so don’t know)

If you looking for Hotel near Kerestir check in Tarcal there’s a nice hotel there.

In BUD there’s 2 kosher meat restaurants, the Dairy they always doing construction so check before, in Kerestir you’ll most probably have food, in Eehel there’s usually noodle soups and these meals you warm up in microwave, Same in Tzanz, in KRK you have to order in advance or you can buy at the falafel/pizza shop.

Unless something changed recently, Liska is not really accessible.

In Frankfurt, you can call Benny Perl. He is driver who knows the place and can take you to kevarim etc... call or whatsapp +491776136137

In kerestir you can stay at Reb Shayaleh's guesthouse (I think they charge $70 a night, free food) call or whatsapp 347-370-2556

From BUD, you can get a pretty cheap ticket (sometimes $27 plus luggage and everything else) on Wizzair to TLV. I think there are some kevarim there...

seems like u will be driving through/near Vienna. Might want to go to Chasam Sofer. It is only open during the day from 11am till 5pm. Google says it's 2.5 hours from Budapest (opposite direction than Kerestir), but it shouldn't be too far out of the way from the drive from Krakow

You can easily add Dynov (Bnei Yisoschor) and Lancut (Chozeh Shul + R' Naftali Ropshitz)

You should use the app Nesiya Tova
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.NesiyaTova&hl=en

There is food in Kerestir, Ihl, Lizhensk, Tzanz and Krakow
