Best time of day to fly from TLV to US...(Adjust time zone question)?

I am going to Israel for my first trip and have been looking at flights. 
Going to Israel is easy as most flights take place at night and arrive early the next morning.
However, returning from Israel, there are flights that leave at 8am, 12 noon, 12 midnight, etc...
It seems that the flights closer to midnight are priced higher but I don't know if that is more desirable.
What do you recommend?  My concern is adjusting back to Eastern time zone....

Going to Israel (unless you leave in the afternoon or early evening on a direct flight) your not getting to TLV in the morning but rather just in time for the evening rush hour on Israeli roads.

The midnight flights are at high demand by business (and other) people as you get a full day in Israel, sleep on the flight (if you can) and arrive early in the morning for a full day in NY (or other east coast cities (I have no experience with west coast).

Some like late morning or afternoon flights out of TLV that will get you to the east coast in the afternoon or evening, killing the day but allowing you to go to sleep a few hours after arrival and hopefully be somewhat adjusted for the next day.

I always look for the flights that leave Israel at midnight and land early the next morning. But I wouldn’t necessarily pay more for those.

Word I am the exact opposite I can't sleep on flights.

So I'll only fly at a time where I'll be able to get a full night's sleep on the ground.

Obviously I don't always have that choice especially to Europe.

Flying in J and some Ambien helps.
