microsoft mailmerge help
« on: January 06, 2020, 02:58:46 PM »
how would I be able to send the same page to more than one email address? I tried putting them in the same cell in excel but it comes back that "Microsoft outlook does not recognize _______________@___.com _____________@____.com"  even when I separate them by a comma or by a semicolon?
tia

You can try making a second row in your table with all the same info but the other email address
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

looks like you need to separate the addresses with a comma and a space
https://support.yet-another-mail-merge.com/hc/en-us/articles/212124585-Send-email-to-multiple-recipients-at-the-same-time

Can you try that?

I saw that, but it seems like that is only for that program (yet another mail merge). In Excel when I put the comma and space it tells me to use a semi colon, which comes back as unrecognized

Could you try putting one address in TO and one in CC?

I haven't done this, just trying to guess and help.

I'm trying to print out labels for invitations.

I centered the first label using the layout alignment thing in the screenshot. But it's not updating all the labels correctly.

What am I doing wrong?

I don't think "update labels" copies the formatting. You can use format painter to fix the others (and next time you'll want to select all the columns before adjusting these things so you can save the format painter step).

Either start from scratch or center all 30 labels in your page, #OldBug

You can select the whole table using the four-arrow icon at the top left, and then set the centering for the whole table

I selected everything on the page, centered it with the layout tool then updated all labels. Seems to have worked.
Thanks.

What is the easiest way to save mail merge documents separately?
and a added bonus saving them with words from the documents itself?

There should be different saving options when you produce the mail merge
