business travel destination for a frum traveler
« on: January 12, 2020, 12:05:06 PM »
Where is a city to have a business meeting in June for about 40 people that is near reliable and frequent minyanim and kosher food?

My company wants to have an all-week business meeting somewhere in the US this June.  I am the only frum employee.  Almost all of us work from home around the US and some in other countries.  The other employees want a place that's fun with good drinking.    The company wants a nearby airport with good direct flights to around the US, does not want to spend more than about 150 per room and prefers a non-chain hotel that has meeting spaces.
I just want to not miss a minyan and to be able to eat "glatt" without bringing "MREs".

godaven.com would tell me about shuls, but not about food.  And I'd have to know what cities to look for on godaven.

Suggestions, please?

Cherry hill - many cheap options for hotels for your company. Close to phl, and has activites for your coworkers.
Has a few shuls, and a small kosher mini market, but your kosher takeout options are limited and in philly proper.

North miami - near fll and mia, a little more expensive for the hotels but you can probably find something more north (it's the start of hurricane season so should be cheaper than rest of year) Many kosher food options and shuls.
I'm not who you think I am.

LAS likely your best bet.
