Will be in Lancaster for tues & wed of chal hamoed. Want to visit the Amish — best way/place?

Any other suggestions on where to go/ what to see (kids range from 5-15) excluding Hershey world?

Thinking about Strasburg railroad and echo dell caverns.

I've been there a couple times and plan on going again. There is no real tour that I'm aware of that takes you into currently inhabited amish houses etc. There is some tour of a house, sort of like a museum, I don't recall the name although you can find it on tripadvisor etc giyf. However, I did do the buggy ride (abe's) where amish people take you in a horse and buggy into their neighborhoods while giving you a personal tour and answer your questions and explain stuff. Afterwards I just took my car and drove through those country roads myself and it was amazing. You get a self guided tour in breathtaking farms, scenery, country roads etc.

I went last year stayed one night at
Hampton inn and suites Hershey nothing special but clean.
The closest minyan (from Hershey) is at the Kesher Israel Congregation address is 2500 N 3rd St, Harrisburg, PA 17110.

Daven at any of the pesach hotel programs. If you call, they should allow.

Since most big attractions are still closed, I think we will just do Amish town some train ride around there etc. nothing confirmed yet.

I must admit I'm shocked a search for "fireworks" returned zero results on this forum....

So I'm wondering if anyone has a lot of experience buying fireworks in eastern PA and can advise where is the best place to buy them? And why is it the best?
I've bought them in PA several times but always feel like I'm just getting suckered in to the giant stores with the highway billboards. They all sell similar items with their own branding and they are running constant "sales". It's like Kohls... if it's not at least 50% off, you're paying more than you would at any other store. I'll be taking a 5-7 day trip through Philly, Lancaster, York/Hanover/Hershey, and possibly Scranton area soon so I am willing to try just abot any fireworks store in these parts of PA.

I’m looking for a decent hotel in Lancaster area. We’ve stayed at Double tree a bunch of times and would like a change. Best Western (Eden) doesn’t have any rooms for our dates. I see there is a brand new Residence Inn by Marriot. Has anyone stayed there? Experience? Is it kid friendly? Thanks
