Vacation Destination?
« on: October 24, 2011, 09:20:01 PM »
My husband and I are looking to go on a nice vacation at the end of August (without the kids). We want to go somewhere exotic, not kid friendly (ex. California) and somewhere that has at least one kosher restaurant. We have been to France and Italy already and loved it. We would definitely go international. Also, not somewhere too expensive. Any suggestions???

I would go there if I had more time... We probably have a week.

Copenhagen/Stockholm - Cheap hotels not sure about kosher resturant. I'd go to Iceland (cheap flights with IcelandExpress), but AFAICR no kosher places there.

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

How about Costa Rica? Someone told me there is a kosher hotel there and a kosher burger king. Did anybody else hear of either of those?

I would like to go on vacation with the wife, end of Dec./ beginning of Jan. No kids. We're under 30 yrs.

Leaving NY area. 5-7 days. Anywhere warm in the US. Miami is the easy option. Bahamas Cruise we did last year. The cheaper the better (duh).

I am kind of a stickler when it comes to food (I refuse to live on tuna and crackers for 5 days), yet I have no interest in seeing Jews everywhere I go.

Feel free to post some ideas if you have any to share.

Thanks!
