Is it ok to be an IRS revenue agent, auditing small businesses in the central NJ area? I believe R Moshe has a teshuvah?..

Cuz I just submitted my application -couldn't help myself  when I saw the "times of service, 8am-430 pm Mon - Fri"...

R Moshe or Rav Wosner (don't remember which one) advises not to take this kind of job.
I'll check it out tomorrow bl"n.

Why would using credit card be different than cash?

What about debit cards?

What about visa or amex giftcards?

what about store giftcards?

what about having a jewish friend buy it for you and paying him back?

what about having a non-jewish friend buy it for you and paying him back?
because it is assur to do sechora with peiros sheviis.
Regarding Debit cards and gift cards I don't know. That would be more of a choshen mishpat issue about how the sale works.
As far as the last two questions, IMHO, I would say assur (definitely by a Jew) because your are using cash to buy peiros sheviis.
And as an aside it is assur to give peiros sheviis to an Aku"m which would also mean it is assur to return it.

As I understand it the assuer of sechora is to do 'commerce' or business with the produce of shemita.

I still dont understand how using a Creditcard is not commerce when using cash is. One could argue that debt financing is more of a business act then paying a few dollars for a couple of oranges.

For people in the points game wouldn't using credit cards lead to an issue of tovat hana'a?

What about people that hold you shouldn't use a creditcard to buy an esrog, what should they do if they are buying a shmita esrog?

For people that are actively looking to buy and eat shemita fruit wouldn't owning them outright be better then owing money on it

the problem is that when you buy fruits of shmita the fruits and the money both have kedusha. Which would mean you are giving Costco "shviis money".
As far as tovas hanaah the hana'ah isn't coming from the seller and doesn't have anything to do with the actual fruits.
Officially (unfortunately this is not always the case) what is supposed to happen with Esrogei shviis is that they make an oitsar Beis din and you only pay for expenses not the actual Esrog or you merely do havla'ah which means paying a little more for the lulav and get the esrog for "free".
And the credit card owes Costco. You don't. You owe the cc company.

So what you are saying is that digital money dosent become Shviis but regular bills and coins do.

Yes. I'm not sure if it is because it is digital money or because you aren't the one paying them.

Jaffa oranges are not necessarily from Israel!! Everyone makes the same mistake.
Fact.

Most have the minhag that from shloshes yemei hagbala it's fine. I have yet to hear someone hold otherwise.

Chabad based on arizal
Is that in the affirmative, or that they hold that not yet?
Either way it's a minhag, while op's wording was allowed to take a haircut.

Shabbos wipes.
Some actually have a hechsher.

Iirc - Some poskim are not into it. Some even think they are worse than the "non shabbos" ones.

I have a shiur from Rabbi Felder somewhere on the topic. If I find it il pm..
