There are a few companies that are KLP year round. It's easier for the production
It should be clearly marked for those that don’t know.

And is that the case? And why wouldnt they mark their packaging KLP? Seems very strange, especially from where its coming, chumrah central, that the products should be properly labled.

ETA: Called OU hotline and they confirmed this...
there are quite a few items that are KFP year round but are not marked as such.

And the opposite is true too. If you're distributing specifically for pesach chalukah it should be required.

Just hear from Rabbi Felder (rov in Lakewood), that a box of cornflakes could be chometz gomur..
Why?
If you don't care why would you comment?

Why?
Read the ingredients. Many contain malt

A whole box can contain a kazayis chometz.
The the link above recognizes this point, and still classifies it as not gomur..

Not Gamur since a Kezayis can't be eaten "K'Dei Achilas Pras."

It should be clearly marked for those that don’t know.

Off the top of my head, I can think of 3 reasons why meat, or anything else that is KLP yearound wouldn't be marked as such:

1. By not marking something KLP year-round, and adding the P only a month before Passover, companies can raise prices under the illusion that it costs them extra.

2. Something might be under multiple hashgachos, and while one Hechsher is fine considering it KLP without extra kashering, another one might require them to Kasher, so they don't print the P year-round to avoid confusion.

3. Gets people to restock close to Pesach even if they already had some at home.

https://www.star-k.org/articles/articles/seasonal/347/guide-to-selling-real-chometz-before-pesach/

This article says that according to some poskim a Taaroves Chametz is only Chayav Bal Yiraeh MiDirabanan

From an OU article-

5. There are opinions that hold that one does not violate bal yiraeh for ta’aruvas chametz that is less than a kezayis b’chdei achilas pras (Magen Avrohom 442:1).

1. Make sure to know what you are doing to not ruin the sink and the seals around it

Since when does a sink need libun? Our rov said it doesnt even need a hot stone. Stainless sink that is. He said boiling water is enough if you are using an insert.

It isnt for the drain, if it can back up into the insert, which it almost always does. Our Rov also said to pour some bleach down the drain. But Libun? K'boloi, how? AKAIK and learned if it touched fire it needs fire. If it was just from chometz going into it hagalah with water is sufficient. Hot stone is just a chumrah to make sure the water didnt cool down while pouring. I actialy kashered my sinks for the fist time with hot water from pesachdig pot instead of specialized kashering set because they were out of it at the local hardware store.

We do bleach and boiling water. But I believe it's an extra since we have the insert
