Someone I know had (fully cooked) cholent in a slow cooker that was accidentally unplugged on Friday night. He was told he could have a goy plug it in since it’s shvus dushvus litzorech Seuss’s shabbos. The Rov said the heating element does not come to a glow in a slow cooker hence it is a dirabanan. Has anyone opened one up? My pro chef one gets to 450 on the base surface according to my thermometer. I find it hard to imagine there is no glowing coil inside...

Does one have to have a sukka nearby which it's raining in or not?

Of course not

Of course not
Why?
Tzaar from most things pertain to a specific sukka. Yittushim, cold, space for beds.
Why do you assume that for rain it's a global petur? Maybe if there was a sukka with heavy scach it wouldn't be pottur yet?

Is it because rain specifically is a sign aino rotze beshimuahcha?

I took apart my flat bottom crockpot and there is a heating element underneath. I measured the element with an infrared thermometer and indeed, I did not get any readings above 500 even on high. So unless one goes with the Chazon Ish, it would seem that plugging it in would only be dirabbanan....

Doesn't having the goy plug it in open you up to bishul akum issues?

If it was cooked kmachal ben drusai that is not an issue.

It was fully cooked. Just chazarah issues; if there would have been a Blech handy it would have been fine. Edit: After putting the base back together and covering it with a pan to simulate normal cooking conditions I tested the element and got readings up to 540F. Hot enough to combust paper, but not red hot which is presumably what is needed to be considered havarah...

Great question.
 Most probably גזל as well.
Most people dont think twice before seeing an unused stamp, if it's free it's for me.

my rav told me it’s muttar. There’s a story about this with the chofetz chaim but I don’t know exact details. The question is if a stamp is a סיבה or just a סימן that you paid

It's not just a סימן it's in fact a ticket for bus and you go off the bus and let another one use your ticket for the bus.
All these are all similar and like you said would require a posek.

I discussed this case with a dayan in Lakewood who told me that the stamp is a shave kesef and therefore one may use it.

Terminating this topic, now you can get a feeling what Lakewood is, take as a pro if you want, don't say I didn't warn you.

Yea of course I make hamotzi on pizza....
(I dont)
love the way you twist this.
You said that they are being machshil people to make mezonos, and I asked for a shita that holds that exists.
And btw pizza is an entirely different entity, I make a mezonos on pizza.
