Never heard of that. You're referring to the kiddish or to giving the name?

I don't think it's specifically till the 2nd shabbos, but i was told to wait until after 3 whole days, because of kabalah inyonim. So, if the baby is born within 3 days of shabbos and you specifically want to name on a shabbos (not monday or thursday) you would wait till the 2nd shabbos to name a girl. And (according to Rav Moshe) the Ikur inyan of a kiddush is to be mehaneh the oilam when you are giving the name, so if you give the name during the week the rugelach etc. are the main "kiddush" and the kiddush on shabbos is just a bonus.

There’s definitely a thing of waiting till 2nd shabbos to give the name & memeila the kiddush.

Never heard of this minhag. A Google search confirmed what I had thought, either the first leining day or the first Shabbos.

The only thing close is the Las Fadas they made in medievel Spain, about two weeks after the girl was born, but I think the naming was earlier.
If you don't care why would you comment?

+1 but -1.
I also never heard of this particular minhag but I would NOT rely on "Rabbi Google" ever, especially since I did hear from a very chushuva Rav to wait 3 days and I couldn't find this minhag either on google.

While it does bring a variety of minhagim including waiting 5 days, it does not bring 3 days (or 2 shabbosim).

in קרלין-סטולין they give the name (and Kiddush) on the second Shabbos
If it benefits even just one fellow DDFer, its worth posting it.
