There's another kulah brought down that if you only have 1 kli that can make the food, technically you can rely on nat bar nat lechatchila even if it's Ben yomo. In practice the guidance is still to try to be machmir but this does have the ability to help sometimes.

Also I don't think the poskim would pasken like the Gr"a against the Chochmas Odom, see Badei Hashulchan. The Minchas Yitzchok (10, 77) also was machmir. True, it's Mpi hashmuah. However, reliable poskim who were talmidim of his, say that he did say it.

The basic concept used by the GRA that the gezeira of eino ben yomo is only when it would be assur bdieved had it been ben yomo is one with many sources (and cholkim). The lchatchila of the RMA is very difficult to understand without it.

Not sure what the difficulty is; if it would ben yomo then according to the Rema earlier it's assur to mix with the other type. Now that it's not a ben yomo it's muttar l'catchilah to mix with the other type (one can still maintain that it's assur to cook with the intention of mixing).

Is one allowed to use the unused stamps that were not stamped on the outside of an envelope?
 Many times the postcard, letter or packages where there were 5 stamps or less go un-stamped and allows you to remove them and glue them down for another piece of mail you want to mail? Whats your guys take? any Teshuvah on this whether muttur or not or is it plain out gezel?

   Not asking can you write GWBR as that would be plain out Gezel or write the return address as the location you want it to go to.

Assuming this is a bit different than using someones metro card for the third transfer hes entitled to use and i use it instead?
 Meaning where something wasn't used can another make use of it?
