Assuming this is a bit different than using someones metro card for the third transfer hes entitled to use and i use it instead?
Meaning where something wasn't used can another make use of it?
So you’re saying your question is only when somebody posted extra postage?

Obviously if that was the required posted you can’t reuse the stamps  regardless of whether it was postmarked..

If the postage was overpaid by the sender and PO didn't stamp it, then why not? If they just forgot to cancel it, seems pashut like any other theft of service from the government.

Baked some pizza in a Milchig oven, then 10 minutes later baked some potatoes in the oven on 500 Deg.
Now someone who is Fleishig wants to eat the Parve potatoes, is he allowed to? Meaning these potatoes are coming from a milchig oven that had pizza in the oven 10 min earlier then had those potatoes baked 10 min after the pizza was baked.

We don't say that about other areas of kasharus.

We don't tell people not to cook both dairy and meat in their homes lest they come to mix them. You learn basic home kasharus, do your best, and ask a shaila if you don't know. I think nat bar nat should be part of the "curriculum".

It is much more complex and likely to lead people to use it when it doesn't apply. That said, I think most people do know that they can eat from keilim before 6 hours. I do think that the basic concept that keilim is a lower level than b'en is well known.

People are always labeling cookies and the like as having been baked in a fleshing oven, even when they are baked by themselves on a cookie sheet, and unlikely to present even nat bar nat lichatchila problems, even if the recipient ends up dunking  them in milk. People are just used to erring on the side of caution, which I guess is not a bad thing.

I once posted on DDF that I had 1 plastic measuring cup that I used to measure food for parve, flaishig and milchig measuring.  I noted that I made sure it was clean and never used hot milchig or flaishigs.
People here had a cow (which is both flaishig and milchig).

Using actual cold milchigs and fleishigs in the same kli on a consistent basis is asking for problems. Aside from the practical problems of others (or visitors) in the house using the measuring cup for hot (many recipes call for adding hot water etc.) there are potential kavush problems as well as the measuring cup being washed with other Keillim,  sponges etc that can cause it to lose its Parve status so really not such a great idea.

1. Hot water is pareve
2. Kavush only applies to leaving things for a while
3. People wash pareve dishes all the time. If it's cold milk, any taam that comes off a sponge is pogem (soap imbedded there).

So quickly we forget that they didn't have 3 sets of dishes in Europe.

1. Hot water is pareve- until you measure dairy cream and use afterwards for hot water without washing out.
2. Kavush only applies to leaving things for a while- remains can stay for a while when placed in the sink or dishwasher.

So quickly we forget that they didn't have 3 sets of dishes in Europe- but 2 sets for sure, same dishes were never used for milchig and fleishig.

People assume that all kitchens work like theirs:
1) Some people always rinse their utensils as soon as they're done using it.
2)Others sometimes allow them to wait near the sink until they get around to it
Type 1 people will never have this problem as @shaulyaakov points out
1. Hot water is pareve

However type 2 people may get into issues as it may sit for over 24 hrs. if thing get hectic and dried milk may end up being cooked in with irui kli rishon etc. as @Yard sale asserts
