If a playgroup Morah told us that her hours would be from 9:20-3 and then changed it to 9:30 without telling us (never mentioned it on registration that this changed), would I be able to back out, and would I be able to get the registration refunded? She agreed to watch you kid from 9:20. If the agreement is binding then i don't see why she can change the time, and since she is, she is the one backing out not you. (if the agreement is not binding then this is moot)

Ah left out a crucial detail - this is in Lakewood where 10 minutes can make a huge difference in terms of getting to your desk on time (traffic).

Do you have a replacement, because finding a babysitter is not easy. (you probably know that though)
Did you try talking to her about it? explain why its important to you and ask if she can make an exception. Point out (very nicely ) that  "i was under the impression that you are starting at 920". I wouldn't go in swinging though, because she obviously doesn't think she is doing anything wrong, so telling her that she is will likely not get you anywhere.

Why wouldn’t they be? Leather is more expensive than PU. They call it vegan because it sounds better than plastic. But the default is for shoes to be made from plastic, leather shoes never happen by mistake.

This is not related to flying, which gets you from point a to point b. You are paying for someone to watch and teach your kids for these hours. It’s very straightforward. If there are 180-200 days of playgroup, that adds up to 30-33 hours that were shaven off over the course of a year.

That's nonsense. Vegan is shorthand for PU and canvas. If it was anything special like mycellium they would make that claim that and not just vegan.
